Kinver
Its hilltop church dates from the 12th century while the village High Street is thought to have existed from the late 13th century.
Kinver's main industry was making and dyeing woollen cloth, and today the village enjoys year-round tourism as crowds flock to explore the National Trust-owned Kinver Edge and the surrounding countryside, as well as the village's electric light tramway.
Kinver is well served by schools, shops and a Country Park, and is twinned with villages in France and Illinois.
